Is it possible to replace our Patriot missiles in the battlespace with man portable laser weapons with in the next three to five years? Can we make these a shoulder launched or easily transportable to set up on a temporary stanchion and ready to fire at will? Can we use compressed gas canisters for the chemical laser system of the defense weapon? If so would these be less weight and more bang for the luggability for the men carrying these units into the battlespace? Would it be better to simply mount the system into a fast moving robotic Sandia Labs “Sarge” type unit or would it simply be easier to mount the whole friggin thing on the DARPA Challenge Award Winning Volkswagon?

One positive aspect to a laser system is unlike the Patriot Missiles, you do not have to take all those missiles with you only the gas canisters to light up the laser unit. Could you have enough seconds on the target with a man portable unit to take out a SCUD Missile? Would you have enough power output? If this devices was on a backpack could the soldier even aim it and hold it steady enough to take out such a fast moving target using hand-eye coordination? Probably not, as the human would need an electronic lock-on and fire device associated with the system. So then could one say that this devices would be very high-tech, complicated, difficult to use and with all its needed electronics too heavy and “Murphy” prone?

Indeed and the man portable would not work if fired off the shoulder because a human is a top heavy organic unit and would wobble when firing something that has to be that accurate in time and 3D space to work, which a laser must be to take out an incoming aircraft or missile. Should it be mounted on a tripod unit like the multi-Stinger systems? As why would you want a shoulder launched system, as men hesitate and have to wait for orders, choke under pressure and by then the missile has gone by, you lose.

Would it be better to mount such a system on a robotic unit floating off shore or an aerial mine field, with pre-determined protocols and just let everyone in the world know the stuff is there and don’t be flying in at Mach 1 or greater unannounced then it will be disintegrated and will disappear into a million tiny pieces of debris.

The more you ask of such a man-portable or shoulder launched device the bigger the weapon becomes, the project gets and thus eventually you run up the costs and cannot compete with current already proven systems. This of course makes it quite a challenge, but also worthy of the effort of man’s mind, as war is a sense which gives us purpose or so it has been said in past and present periods by philosophers of the sound and fury.

Now then is this possible, can we really make something that is lightweight, easy to fire, accurate to a grape fruit size at 1-3 miles while the target travels at the speed of sound or greater? Hard to say if this is a feasible endeavor, although such a defensive weapon is needed for our “Blue Force” in the Battlespace can it actually be built and if so, will it actually work? Think on this.

High Energy Laser weapons are now here, that’s right Star Wars laser type combat is coming to a Net-Centric Battlespace near you. Chemical Laser Weapons will work at very high speeds and to prevent them from taking out our military assets we will need to develop defense shields for our ICBMs, Stealth Aircraft, Ships, Tanks and infantry personal. But you say why bother, we are the only nation with high-energy laser weapons. Why do we need defense shields for these units? Well because any one who studies warfare modern or ancient knows that whatever weapons you have today your potential adversary will have tomorrow. This means you must continually come up with new weapons and counter your enemies or potential enemies newest weapons.

Currently Israel has the THEL, a ground based high-energy laser weapon and they are anticipating selling them to the Chinese. Both our allies indeed, that is today. Indeed in the future these nations may share these technologies with nations who are not necessarily our allies, but they are their allies currently. This happens all the time and is a reality of Machiavellian truths. This is before we consider the spy game where secrets are stolen or bartered to the highest bidder thru espionage or traitorous acts. I therefore propose that we begin development of an acoustic surface wave diffraction shield to defend our military assets against enemy High Energy Laser Weapons. Consider this in 2006.

Is it possible to coat granules of dust floating in normal airflows with a reflective coating to increase communication of smart dust particles and MEMS? Be coating on the granules of dust would be charged to promote ionic bonding with nearby smart dust particles. It makes sense to use the dust already in the air to help promote the smart dust mission for communication, surveillance and whether monitoring.

By using methods of coating granules of dust within airflows sprinkled with smart dust, we should be able to send a chemical laser beam into the virtually transparent cloud of particles to power up continuous flight in keeping the system airborne. The coating would collect the energy and store it by way of heat transfer any energy could be slowly used by the smart dust, which is a long for the ride.

Be coating used would also promote high rates of communication between the nodes or motes used in the MEMS smart dust. This would also allow us easy access to the information that was gathered due to the energy that the smartdust cloud would emit. Although this may sound like science fiction and abstract thought; I think I might be onto something here and we need to address some of these issues, as all this seems to be possible with current technologies and the applications for weather monitoring, weather control and weather modification seemed apropos.

For anyone in vaults in military technologies, military communication or are doing research in the field of net centric warfare, I would advise you to look into this concept and consider its possibilities. We must move forward and understand the potential of such technologies in their benefits to mankind. Consider this in 2006, I did.

The Locust Plagues threaten to devastate crops in Africa, but can we use modern technology, namely acoustic directional sound waves, to defeat them? One research believes it is possible and announced his plans to do so in an online think tank recently. Warren Powers has a plan and has done research which leads him to believe it is now possible to beat these locust plagues once and for all.

An acoustical sound wave beam will be blasted at the Locust Swarm while they fly over the lake causing them to crash into the lake and become fish food. Now then, the insects, which fall in the water will make a virtual island and therefore the others will simply land on top of them and have a land bridge, so you need an AUV Autonomous Underwater Vehicle to churn them under the water.

Other wise they will simply sit there until you turn off the sound and take off again or find a way to start again, as you may not be able to disable all of them; unless you use a dirigible or Blimp and send the sound downward rather than sideways from a barge.

Next point in the planned Lake Victoria surprise attack ambush on the Locust Plague; if there are algae blooms, then the last thing you want to do is add high-amounts of protein into the lake. Why? Well we know from chicken feathers and Pig Farms in South Carolina that you can cause flesh eating bacteria to grow and it will get into the local fish populations and end up down stream into perhaps drinking water and into other aquatic life down rivers. Not good.

Extremely problematic, so the concept of fish food is okay only after a food chain check shows this is okay. You are talking tons and tons of fish food super high in protein, which should increase fish populations too, it is important to consider this as well.

Next point a barge with all the directional acoustical harmonic sound beam equipment on it could find itself misplaced by a considerable distance from the guestimate of the swarm passage route, thus need much higher power and if there is too much moisture in the air the sound waves will change in their effectiveness due to water droplets.

Also if the swarm is right over the barge you can have an enclosure for the operators, but the generators will need lots of air for the engines and cooling. If those air-filters are clogged by millions of locusts, you lose and are forced to shut down. Mission is a failure although you still have the data of what was accomplished for future use. If we are to stop these swarms we must get tough and consider all the details. Comment on this in 2006.

Affiliate marketing is arguably the great elbow room that many masses are making massive numbers of money on the internet.

Furthermore doing money from affiliate programs is fair so easy but whilst this may be so, the trueness is that outside of whole the heavy working affiliate traffickers on the internet less than 10% ar making some money and simply about 1% are making truly great money.

Therefore what is the difference between the great earners and those who are fighting to make sufficiency to track their hosting prices?

Good understanding and executing the base techniques of affiliate marketing is an essential ingredient to achieving success as an affiliate marketer.

These proficiencies can be summed with the coming primary affiliate marketing steps.

3 Essential Steps to Making Money With Affiliate Platforms

1. Affiliate Network Sign On with a respectable affiliate net that provides a full range of products & services from where you can select a product or service to suit your affiliate business’ theme.

2. Product Select a product that will generate an acceptable affiliate commission when sold-out – earning a commission of anything less than $10 per sale could be considered too down – several affiliate platforms provide commissions up to 75% of the selling cost.

3. Demand for the Production Net sure that there is a strong require for the product you are advertising over the affiliate program – without lots of hungry purchasers you won’t be having lots commission

Clear there is a lot more to making decent money with affiliate programs but any aspiring affiliate seller who neglects the previous tips does so at his peril.

So if the returns from your affiliate marketing try ar not just earth blasting ever recuperate to the rudiments and review your affiliate program military campaign.

An online think tank member and concept designer has been studying the aerodynamics of insect flight; specifically bees and locusts and now he believes has figured out the puzzle which has literally plagued mankind since ancient times. How to stop locust swarms from devastating human civilizations. How so you ask?

Mr. Warren Powers has drawn out plans to test a concept of using directional sound waves to control and stop locust storms. In his announcement of the concept Mr. Warren states; “It seems to me a reasonable place to begin would be to create a curtain or “plane” of sound or a “sound wall” or “sound barrier” through which the locusts would fly and that wall of sound could be a few feet thick and a couple hundred yards long, a few dozen yards tall. That space would look like a rectangle in the air placed in the path of an oncoming swarm.”

Yes in concept this could work. But do locust swarms have any rhyme or reason or known shape to them? Hard to say, but I think they do actually, although I would have to study this. I am pretty into swarm theory from an offense and defense standpoint of nature and battlespace AI future of net-centric warfare. If we built a vertical virtual 4D sound wall then as the swarm bunches up, the power level must be increased. What the swarm would do, since we are dealing with an organic evolved creature, which has never dealt with such a sound wall is probably continue rather than evade it.

Although they might turn around or mutate the swarm’s shape or direction due to the bunching up of traffic jam, which would be the same if they encountered an obstacle, a tree, mountain, rock or building and that we know they can do and have evolved to deal with, obstacle avoidance. Now then, we need a secondary unit to close off the sides and backs of the swarm or several such units. And if all hell breaks lose [as if a locust plague is not already nearly there] then those operating such machinery need to be protected too.

No one knows for sure if Warren Powers strategy will work, but judging by the laws of physics it appears it is possible and that is good enough a reason to go for it, as everyone knows how devastating Locust Plagues can be. Imagine this in 2006.

Currently researchers are working away to build artificially intelligent programs, which can work as human assistants. They will be able to work alongside of humans and offer assistance to help humans complete tasks; things such as a reading a manual and putting it into human terms you see normal in every day phrases and speech. This of course sounds like an excellent idea and has applications for everything from an auto mechanic to NASA and space exploration. Indeed, even the military rather fancies the idea and concepts.

When artificial intelligence robotic androids are working alongside of humans, who are already well versed in the subject; the robotic android will need the equivalent of a degree program and be able to use all the buzzwords for the industry. In this brings up another point, all humans have hobbies, experiences and knowledge that are slightly different from other humans. The robotic android to be respected in periodic conversation while working alongside their human partner in to keep the human partner from becoming bored with their presence; the robotic android will need to be programs with various achievements in experiences so that they can tell stories in relay those experiences to the human in conversation.

If the artificial intelligent robotic android cannot do this then it will not be respected by it’s human companion and thus cause friction, animosity in the poor chance at bonding. Each robotic assistant plus, the story; for instance hobbies include fishing and sailing and thus the robotic android must be programmed with a complete set of vocabulary for fishing and sailing and some fish stories and know all types of boats. I hope you understand the importance of this, as it will be an issue if we are to get humans to respect these very expensive tools in artificial intelligence. A system only works when it is adopted by those using it and if the human does not bond with robotic assistant then all is lost and you have wasted your money. Consider this in 2006.

There are many insect type swarms, which threaten mankind. For instance killer bees or the very devastating Locust Plagues, which can wipe out a seasons crops in minutes. It appears that we maybe able to control insect swarms in various ways; for instance sound waves, which are directed into the heart of the swarm.

And so this discussion came up recently in an online think tank when one member Warren states; “The experiments to make that determination are expensive by their very nature. That is why www.bose.com and the American Technologies Corporation or other people, SONY or about 10 other sound-related companies need to be involved. This would open a market for their equipment and showcase their expertise.”

This could be made a contest to see who could re-create a micro-mechanical swarm and use these principles once they are learned with each team getting sponsors like those you mention above to show there stuff. And yes the experiments would lead to worthy commercial products such as insect sound walls, agriculture uses and a solution to controlling locust swarms.

Warren states; “I want to see this sound-weapon concept tested to determine if it is only so much wishful thinking or to see if there could be a way to return some of the misery these critters have extended to many of us who use and enjoy the written word; wouldn’t mind returning the favor to those nasty little flying bastards.”

Funny you should mention this, as a young adult I was hit by a swarm of yellow jackets or hornets and they got into my hair and they are tough little guys to deal with, I cannot imagine what a large swarm would be like. I defeated the mini-swarm by running away as fast as I could and then flat handing my head over and over trying to kill them, they would not stop. Pretty robust little guys I’ll tell you.

This locust thing is a tough one considering the size of the swarm and the power requirement, but the more I consider all this the more I wonder why can’t we use a sound reflector and thus use their energy to cancel their sound or a directional sound dampener system, which I am not sure exists or what something like that is even called? Perhaps we should consider this in 2006.
