Dannii Minogue has allegedly been prohibited from having her sister Kylie help her during judges homes rounds of the X Factor. The new ma had wanted her pop star sister to help her select 3 finalists for this year’s series which starts on Saturday evening. However, bosses are alleged to be refusing because they do not want to pay the price of Kylie’s flight to Australia, where Dannii is at present enjoying motherhood leave with her partner Kris Smith and their baby Ethan.

Notwithstanding agreeing to fly 8 X factor finalists to Danni in Melbourne, producers have put their foot down and ordered her to select an aid already in Australia, or to hand over for Kylie’s flight herself. A source said to the Daily Star paper : Dannii and Kylie are shell-shocked. Last year Kylie assisted her out and they were whisked off to Dubai for judges’ houses. Now somebody has cut the purse strings. Dannii’s been asked to find somebody nearer to home. So it is either Natalie Imbruglia or Lady Edna! All this penny pinching and just last week it was disclosed that ITV had awarded Simon Cowell £33 million ( up £4 million on ast year’s budget ) so that he could make the show larger and better than previously. Appears a little bit of a contradiction to us!

Lady Gaga has become the 1st living person to have 10,000,000 fans on Facebook. The Bad Romance vocalist beat competition from US President Barack Obama to clock up the record number of fans, and according to the independent online auditor Famecount.com she’s on track to overtake Michael Jackson.

The 24-year-old star – true name Stefani Germanotta – is presently trailing behind the late King of Pop, who has more than 14,000,000 “mates” on the networking website, but her total is rising each day.

In a different story, Lady Gaga played a victorious homecoming concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Tues. night The ‘Alejandro’ vocalist became emotional in the show explaining to her adoring fans how she used to look at other great acts from the fans.

She announced “My name is Lady Gaga and I used to sit right over there, way far in the back and way up top…

I used to gaze at this side of the room, and I used to believe, ‘I’m going to be up there.’

“Each 2nd you watch me on this stage, you remember, I was sitting where you are.”

The stage set looked to be swayed by the roads of Long Island and featured a battered old tube automobile and a gritty urban landscape and Gaga underwent a considerable number of costume changes in the night including one burlesque-inspired leopard print latex dress.

At one stage in the set, the showy pop star dedicated the tune ‘Speechless’ to her pop in the crowd for helping her achieve her music dream.

BRITNEY Spears wants to be frozen after her demise so she will be brought back to life later on.

The Sun reported the 28-year-old Womaniser vocalist wants her body saved in liquid nitrogen and is making an investment in an Arizona firm that specialises in cryogenic freezing, a chum of the star expounded.

The Alcor Life Extension Foundation is among the oldest firms of its kind, set up in 1972. On its internet site, the company gives its target as : “Using ultra-cold temperature to save human life with the desire of restoring good health when technology becomes available to do so. “

But the Foundation is not unfamiliar with debate. Last week, a US judge ordered the family of 81-year-old Orville Richardson to dig up his corpse so his head might be frozen as per a contract he had signed with the company in 2004, at a price of $53,500. And last year ex-employee Larry Johnson purported, in his book Frozen, a previous baseball star’s head stored on the grounds had been belted by staff practicing their batting swing.

A chum of Spears recounted: “Brit gets these fixations and this is the most recent.”

It started when a person told her Walt Disney had been saved by cryogenics to be resuscitated in the future. “That was a parable nevertheless it got her researching the foundation and she became sure it was worth a shot.”

Brit found the entire thing so fascinating she spent the majority of her Mother’s short trip to Disneyland researching the topic online while a nanny took the boys round the park. “She looked into having her ashes turned into diamonds after she’s gone but settled on the possibility of getting to live in the future.

“If she is going ahead and signs the contract, her passing will actually attract more than the common amount reserved for a star death.

According to Alcor, the cryonics process should begin in the first 2 mins after a heart stops, and ideally within the 1st fifteen mins.

In other news, Alicia Keys has her new music video “Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready)” premiered on Wednesday, May 12 on BET’s “106 & Park” and Vevo. The music video itself was directed by Jake Nava, who has helmed Beyonce Knowles and Britney Spears’ music videos.

Justin Bieber could end up dating reality TV star Kim Kardashian according to the latest reports from entertainment websites in the US and from around the world. Justin Bieber has already had huge success in the last year with a number of top 10 hits in both the UK and USA.
U.S. Reality Television beauty Kim Kardashian latterly turned her attentions to teenager sensation Justin Bieber, The Sun reports. On Sat. night, curvy Kardashian, twenty-nine, announced her devotion to the vocalist on social marketing website Twitter. “I officially have Bieber Fever!!, ” she wrote. The Baby hit-maker returned the compliment by putting a picture on his Twitter page. “Look it’s my squeeze Kim Kardashian, ” the 16-year-old wrote. Bieber lately alleged he is still single and looking for an older squeeze, even naming Kardashian as somebody he’d like till now. Start of sidebar. Skip to finish of sidebar. End of sidebar. Return to start of sidebar. The baby faced vocalist further said he would not cross out any lady as a love match so long as she was no older than forty.
Daniel Ek, the CEO of Spotify, expressed his earnest desire of seeing the service spread across web-connected forums around the home.
The beginning of this month saw an official release from Spotify claiming that it has collected over 7 million subscribers since its inception with more than 320,000 premium account that are provided with an ad-free service with a fees.

The biggest thing you have to worry about is that there are so many – too many – groups trying to climb the ladder. What you need is exposure. Promotion and publicity comes at a premium.

There’s a storm on the street. We’re caught in a blizzard of entertainment. The closer you get to the center, the nearer you get to the top, the less will see or been seen. It’s like a white out in winter. The place where most people give up. Ah, but, the winners live in the eye of the hurricane where it’s calm and quiet. The ones who are centered are safe. The ones who know their way around know there’s no need to fuss or worry. They keep on keeping on and let the people around them do the work.

Emerging artists can’t afford the high cost of professional marketing. Better to partner with those who can. That’s the crunch, the place between too little and too much; the haves and have nots. Promotion, or lack of it, are the reason why most bands fail. Beyond the hype, beyond commercial manipulation, the artist needs to find an audience and the audience needs to find him. Years ago, I discovered a marketing principle that can make all the difference in the world between success and failure.

A folk tale is told about a man who had been traveling for a long time. Having run out of food, he was weary and hungry from his journey. When he came upon a small village, he thought, “Maybe someone could share some food.” When the man knocked at the first house, he asked the woman who answered, “Could you spare a bit of food? I’ve traveled a long way and am very hungry.” “I’m sorry, but I have nothing to give you,” the woman replied. So the traveler went to the next door and asked again. The answer was the same.

He went from door to door and each time he was turned away. Not one of the villagers were willing to oblige the man as times were tough and no one had much to spare. But then one villager said, “All I have is some water.” “Thank you,” the traveler said smiling gratefully, “We can make some soup from that water. We can make stone soup.” He asked the man for a cooking pot and started building a small fire.

As the water started to boil, a passing villager stopped and asked him what he was doing. “I’m making stone soup,” the traveler replied. “Would you like to join me?” The curious villager agreed. “First, we must add a special stone,” said the traveler. “One with magic in it.” He reached into his knapsack and carefully unwrapped a special stone he’d been carrying with him for many years. Then he put it in the simmering pot.

Soon people from the village heard about this strange man who was making soup from a stone. They started gathering around the fire, asking questions. “What does your stone soup taste like?” asked one of the villagers. “Well, it would be better with a few onions,” the traveler admitted. “Oh, I have some onions,” he replied. Another villager said, “I could bring a few carrots.” Someone else offered, “We still have some potatoes in our garden. I’ll go get them.”

One by one, each villager brought something to add to the pot. What had started as just some water and a magic stone, had now become a delicious soup, enough to feed the whole village. The traveler and the villagers sat down together to enjoy their feast, and the miracle they’d help to create.

In the vast blizzard of stars and wanna be’s, in the dense fog of sound that pervades the music industry, artists – even the great ones – have to find a way of getting heard.. Bob Dylan found a way. An apocalyptic visionary who came from small town nowhere, Dylan’s magic stone – his aura of mystery – turned soup into a legend.
