Gladiator Style Heels and Other Ladies Shoes
15 March 2010With so many varieties of women’s shoes and boots in the high-street shops, e.g. gladiator style heels, it’s a good idea to identify the types of shoes available.
Flats
Flat women’s shoes are shoes without a heel. They are normally slip on, but there are some varieties that have a strap over the instep or tie the same as gentlemen’s dress shoes (Oxfords). Flat women’s shoes are versatile; they can work with jeans, capri pants, and long skirts.
Heeled Ladies Shoes
Heeled Ladies Shoes come in numerous different styles and heights, like:-
- Pumps that are simple dress shoes with a low-cut vamp (the top part of the shoe), an average height (5 to 7cm high) tapered heel, and either a tapered or rounded toe.
- Chunky heels that feature a large heel which doesn’t narrow a lot and are a lot more comfortable to wear than narrow heels. They are for sale in each and every height and ordinarily feature a square or rounded toe.
- Stilettos that feature very high , super pointed heels, often coming with a support inside to brace it. Stiletto heels frequently have a very narrowed front.
Women’s sandals
Ladies sandals come in casual and dressy varieties. Casual sandals typically possess a flat sole and can be utilitarian, or popular, such as strappy gladiator sandals. Prom sandals come with a high heel and pointed leather or satin straps. Prom sandals are typically worn for an evening out.
Mules
Women’s mules are backless shoes and are commonly low to mid heeled. Women’s mules are wonderful for the office, since they are suitable to wear with skirts and trousers and can be casually removed under your office desk to relax your feet.
Women’s Boots
Women’s Boots are utilitarian, such as sheekskins that are ideal for keeping warm, or flat riding boots designed for riding horses. Trendy women’s boots feature a range of heel lengths, and can reach only to the anklebone or to the thigh.
